Green Oaks Eggs are the product of a permaculture system. Our diverse flock of chickens are pastured on garden beds and in food forests. They also turn compost piles and enjoy the hunt for tasty insects. This process is not only sustainable but regenerative. Choosing our eggs will be a nourishing experience for you, our chickens and the environment that we all depend on.
Let’s build a more abundant Corvallis together!
- ABOUT ME -
Hello! I'm Zach Thomson, owner and operator of Green Oaks Eggs. I am a native of Corvallis Oregon, born and raised here on our small family farm. As a youth I attended Corvallis Leadership Commonwealth where I studied classic literature and developed an appreciation for the noble concept of Georgics. At age eighteen I went away to teach in Arizona and discovered the permaculture movement and a passion for it's principles. At age twenty I attended Monticello College in Utah where I studied Liberal Arts, Wildcrafting, Natural Building, Biodynamics, and earned my Permaculture Design Certificate. I've returned home to Corvallis to show my gratitude for all that my home has meant to me by establishing Green Oaks Eggs as a demonstration of the kind of holistic living that I believe will bring an increase of abundance and local resilience to Corvallis.
